Video: 24 Hours of UPS Air Traffic over the USA

By June 12, 2011

Video: 24 Hours of UPS Air Traffic over the USA This video provides a peek at a typical day of UPS airplane traffic over the continental United States.

The video begins at noon, and the activity is rather low until 9pm when hundreds of planes from all over the United States take to the air. Over the next 3-4 hours they nearly all converge on the Worldport, UPS’s mega-hub in Louisville, Kentucky. It’s quiet again for a few hours until 4am, which shows the beginning of a massive exodus of aircraft from Louisville to all points of the compass.
